Boy, 12, attacked by 'Staffie' dog in Stroud

A 12-year-old boy was left with bite marks, scratches and bruising after being attacked by a 'Staffie-type' dog in Stroud.

Police are investigating the attack which happened in Brick Row between 3.15pm and 3.45pm on Tuesday.

â¿¿The boy was taken to Stroud Hospital for treatment to bite marks to his arm, scratches to his stomach and bruising.

The dog is described as dark in colour with a red collar.

Anyone with information that could help the investigation should call police on 101 quoting incident 247 of February 12.
