Dog attack on Bowbridge Lane, Stroud

Police are appealing to the public for information after a couple and their pet dog were injured by another dog as they walked in Bowbridge Lane in Stroud last week.

 

The incident happened at around 1pm on Wednesday January 25.

 

The husband and wife and their dog were walking along the road when another dog approached them and injured them.

 

The dog was described as a 'boxer type' with a tan back but white along the sides and underneath. He was on a lead and his owner was described as a woman, around 30-years-old and about 5ft 7" tall. She had mid-length brown hair styled in a bob and was wearing dark coloured clothing.

 

The couple sought medical treatment for their injuries.

 

The police have asked that anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 377 of January 25.
