Stroud FM 'Uncovered' Calendar Launch

Stroud FM have got together with Stroud photographer Tammy Lynn Kwan to produce a cheeky Christmas present idea to help raise money for the station – which until recently faced closure because of a funding crisis. 

Their first calendar contains a different, naked, presenter for each month.  All the pictures are stylish but with a real sense of humour.  

Stroud FM will be unveiling their 2012 Calendar on Monday 5th December at Bar 9, John Street, Stroud between 7.30- 9.30pm.  The Presenters who took part in the calendar will be at the event although you may find it hard to spot them with their clothes on. There will also be a chance to view and purchase large prints from the calendar, taken by professional photographer Tammy Lynn Kwan at her Gloucester studio.

The idea has been supported by local businesses who have pulled together to help fun production costs.

One participant, Chas Townley, who presents Drivetime on Wednesdays, enjoyed doing the shoot, although he added "My children were frankly horrified that their dad was going to appear in the buff in public!" The presenters' modesty is cunningly hidden, with strategically placed bits of radio equipment and other props that reflect their programmes – but not much is left to the imagination.  Clare Jackson, Vice Chair of Stroud FM and Miss August, says "It's all been tastefully done and we hope the public will buy them as Christmas stocking fillers."

Calendars will be on sale on the night and then at various outlets in Stroud up to Christmas.  It can also be ordered online through the website Stroud FM web site at www.stroudfm.co.uk, or via their Facebook page facebook.com/stroudfm.

The photos shown here are preview pictures only and won't be appearing in the final calendar, the contents of which is being kept strictly under wraps until the launch.
