    It seems we are going to have to wait another month before the new canal bridge opens.  Although they seem to be making good progress further delays have occurred due to the 'complexity of road surfacing'.  The date for opening is now mid-July.  According to the Project Manager Nigel Edgeworth the delay will 'minimise disruption to the public'.
